Terms & Conditions

Throughout these Terms, the following words carry specific meanings:

• "Service" — The educational workshops, sessions, and related materials provided by Orn Charoen.
• "User" / "You" — Any person who visits this website or enrols in a programme.
• "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Orn Charoen Financial Education, operating at 148 Ngam Wong Wan Road, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210, Thailand.
• "Content" — All educational materials, handouts, worksheets, and information shared during programmes.
• "Agreement" — These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

By submitting an enquiry form, enrolling in a workshop, or using this website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You have read and accept these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services or this website.

Orn Charoen offers structured educational programmes for adults aged 40 and above, focused on personal financial literacy. Our current programmes include:

• Smart Shopping Workshop — A one-day session on value-conscious purchasing strategies.
• Thai Stock Market Fundamentals — Four half-day sessions covering equity investing foundations.
• Widowhood Financial Transition — A five-session programme supporting adults managing finances independently after bereavement.

Programme schedules, content, and availability are subject to change. We will communicate any significant changes to enrolled participants in advance.

Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received in full and you have received a written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline enrolment requests at our discretion.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information during registration. If your details change, please notify us promptly so we can keep our records up to date.

We ask all participants to contribute to a respectful and productive learning environment:

• Treat fellow participants and facilitators with courtesy.
• Attend sessions punctually and prepared to engage.
• Refrain from recording sessions without explicit written permission.
• Use course materials for personal learning only — not for commercial redistribution.
• Refrain from disruptive behaviour that interferes with the learning of others.

Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: sharing login credentials (if applicable), misrepresenting your identity, or submitting false information during registration.

All course materials, handouts, slides, frameworks, and website content are the intellectual property of Orn Charoen. They are provided for your personal educational use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any of our content — in whole or in part — for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

The limited licence granted to you as a participant is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and valid only for the duration of the programme in which you are enrolled.

Fees

All fees are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of all materials.

Refunds & Cancellations

• More than 14 days before the session: Full refund, less a ฿200 administrative fee.
• 7–14 days before the session: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before the session: No refund. A credit towards a future session may be arranged at our discretion.
• If we cancel a session: Full refund or transfer to another date, as you prefer.

The following additional terms apply to each programme type:

Our programmes are provided for general financial education purposes only. They do not constitute:

• Legal advice
• Regulated financial or investment advice
• Tax guidance
• Any form of recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument

We recommend consulting a qualified professional for advice specific to your personal circumstances. The service is provided on an "as is" basis, and we make no assurance regarding specific outcomes from participation.

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Orn Charoen's total liability for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific programme in question.

We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to: financial losses resulting from decisions made based on programme content, or losses due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these Terms. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy set out in Section 7.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed through informal discussion. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter promptly and amicably.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding our services.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in future.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your enrolment or rights under these Terms to another person without our written consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify enrolled participants by email at least 14 days in advance.

Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
