In Their Own Words
"I came expecting general advice but left with a proper framework I still use every time I consider a larger purchase. The comparison sheet they gave us has been genuinely useful — I've referred back to it three or four times since March."
"I've tried to read about the SET on my own for years. Every time it felt overwhelming. Suwan explained things in a way that finally made sense — starting from actual Thai companies I recognised. After four sessions I feel like I genuinely understand what I'm looking at."
"Nothing can prepare you fully for what comes after losing your husband. But this program gave me a structure when everything else felt chaotic. Nattaya was extraordinarily patient. I didn't feel judged for not knowing things I thought I should have known by now."
"Very practical and grounded. The session on understanding promotions opened my eyes to how much I was misreading what was actually a good deal versus what was just presented that way. I'd have liked a bit more time on the decision framework, but overall very worthwhile."
"A close friend told me about this program six months after I lost my husband. I was hesitant — I wasn't ready to think about money. But the pacing of the sessions meant I had time between each one to process and apply things gradually. By the fifth session I felt significantly more settled."
"I specifically appreciated that this was about understanding, not about being told what to buy. The facilitator was very clear that this was education, not advice — and that distinction made me trust the information more, not less. Very well run."
"My daughter suggested I attend after watching me make a few purchasing decisions she thought were not well-considered. She was right. The workshop was clear, and the group was small enough that it felt like a real conversation rather than a lecture."
"I didn't know such a program existed. A neighbour mentioned it and I called almost immediately. What I needed was someone to walk me through the steps one at a time — and that is exactly what this program did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone in a similar situation."
Participant Journeys
The Situation
Kanokporn had found herself spending significantly more than she intended each month — not on large items, but through accumulated smaller purchases that felt reasonable in the moment.
What Changed
After the workshop, she applied the impulse spending framework she'd been given. She began adding a 48-hour pause before non-essential purchases above a threshold she'd set herself.
The Outcome
Within two months she estimated she'd reduced unplanned spending meaningfully, and felt far less anxious about her monthly budget. The change came not from restriction but from having a clear process.
"What I appreciated most was that nobody told me what I should or shouldn't buy. They just gave me a way to make the decision myself, more consciously."
The Situation
Jiraporn's husband had managed all of their finances for their entire marriage. After his passing, she had no idea where to begin — account details, outstanding policies, monthly outgoings — none of it was familiar.
What Changed
The program gave her a structured sequence — what to address first, what could wait, and what questions to ask her bank. The facilitator also covered the benefits claim process, which she hadn't known existed.
The Outcome
By the end of the program Jiraporn had a clear picture of her financial position, had successfully transitioned all accounts into her name, and had submitted her benefits claim. She described the final session as the first time she felt genuinely in control.
"I came in with a pile of papers I didn't understand. I left knowing what each one meant and what I needed to do with it."
